Sweeping Plywood Floors 101

Due to fog, school was closed last Thursday, so we spent the day working around the house. My job was to sweep the floors. Let me tell you---it is extremely difficult to sweep plywood. I can't wait to sweep actual floors!! It will be far less tedious.

Roof- check.

Patio door and soffit- check.

Front door- ordered.

Random, but what is this bug? It looks like it has plates like a Stegosaurus?!?!

They started roofing on Friday and if the weather holds out *fingers crossed* they should be done roofing by Wednesday! One step closer :) Check out the sky in the picture---today was a gorgeous day in Ohio!

Finally the rain has stopped and the house is beginning to take shape---literally. The floor has been poured and the basement walls are framed. Let's hope Sandy Thomson's weather forecast is correct...

Swimming, anyone?

A week ago Jason and I signed some papers. I guess we should have read the papers more carefully because today someone dug a hole in our yard! I know it's for the pool I've always wanted---Jason says otherwise...

They still need to finish digging, but things are moving rather quickly (I think?)!
